Panther Racing wins the Internet
This morning, Panther Racing issued a disappointed press release stating that they had failed to sign LeBron James to drive an IZOD IndyCar Series entry alongside Dan Wheldon. It is a tossup whether the PR itself or the fact that it got picked up and distributed to outlets like SPEED.com - apparently without the realization of its tongue-in-cheek nature - is more full of win.
Wheldon - and his shoe collection - was apparently unavailable for comment.

ROFLMAO!

"How can a pickup truck contain enough mass to unfold into a towering machine? I say if Ringling Brothers can get 15 clowns into a Volkswagen, anything is possible."
You're going to be shocked...
…but Mike Knight hated this press release. In other news, Mike Knight hates ice cream, sunshine and puppies.
Yet...
…if he had written it himself, he’d have considered it to be the paragon of perfect promotion. (Not to mention noting the alliteration.)
You are validating my inherent mistrust of strangers.
