Rumors are swirling at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway about Scott Speed. According to sources, Speed, former F1 and Sprint Cup Series driver, quit Dragon Racing the day before Pole Qualifying for the 100th Anniversary Indy 500. However, Speed took to Twitter to deny the reports immediately after Fast Friday concluded.

Being fired is bad, but leaving will be looked on as being worse, no matter if he’s justified or was acting like a prima donna.
