A significant investment from Mazda will see the champions of three Road to Indy development programs receive scholarships to move up the ladder. Mazda will award scholarships to the USF2000, Star Mazda, and Firestone Indy Lights champions to "graduate" to the next rung of the IndyCar development ladder.
After three years, two Firestone Indy Lights championship titles and 11 race wins, AFS Racing and Andretti Autosport are no longer partners. Fret not, AA will still be part of every stop on the Road to Indy.
Danica Patrick and Pippa Mann were honored during the INDY DownForce Banquet by being awarded the 2010 Most Popular Driver Awards for the IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights Series.
The awards were determined by fan voting at all Indy Racing League events throughout the season and via the league's website, indycar.com. Voting was facilitated by INDY DownForce (the league's official fan club).
